Insomnia

Insomnia can be reduced through natural remedies:

  • 1a) Sleeplessness is caused by a brain melatonin deficit, that is synthetised by serotonin, on its turn synthetised by tryptophan, an essential amino-acid that originates from diet only
  • 1b) Gut’s inability to absorb appropriate amounts of tryptophan reduces both serotonin and melatonin brain availability
  • 1c) Alpha lactalbumin is the serum protein nature has prepared for us (1) as gut prebiotics.
  • 1d) Alpha lactalbumin increases serotonin (2) and thus the availability to melatonin synthesis

What are the reasons?

  • 1a) Our modern life-style as well as our disordered eating makes it difficult to assimilate indispensable substances (3) for a well working of the whole body, from bowel to brain.
  • 1b) A ‘sad’ gut (4) cannot properly absorb the substances that are provided by diet only, i.e. essential amino-acids from enzymatic demolition of dietary proteins.
